Beautiful beaches and landscapes in the Caribbean

When it comes to the Caribbean, one thing it is not short of
is beautiful beaches and landscapes.

From Antigua with its collection of more than 360 white sand beaches, to Barbados, which boasts 80 stunning white sand beaches, to the beautiful beaches of St. Lucia, The Grenadines, you’re spoilt for choice.

Here are some of the many beautiful Caribbean beaches and
landscapes you could explore:

Bathsheba Beach – Barbados

Combine pristine turquoise waters, white sand and striking rock formations and you have Bathsheba Beach, a must visit paradise.

The Pitons – St. Lucia

If you are visiting St. Lucia, a must see is the soaring sight of The Pitons. The two volcanic spires are a UNESCO World Heritage site and are not to be missed during your stay.

Shirley Heights – Antigua

Explore
this restored military lookout and gun battery, one of Antigua’s many stunning
sights. The view from Shirley Heights Lookout is one of the most famous on
Antiqua and is ready and waiting to be photographed.

Palm Island Beach – The Grenadines

Soft
white sand, aqua-marine water and a breath-taking view await on Palm Island
Beach. This is an absolute must visit destination during your stay on this
stunning collection of islands.

Nelson’s Dockyard

Discover
Antigua’s rich cultural heritage by taking a visit to Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO
World Heritage Site and marina.

Located
in English Harbour, Saint Paul Parish, Nelson’s Dockyard is the largest of
Antigua’s national parks and boasts an array of striking Georgian-style naval
buildings dating back to the 18th century. It is still used today as
a working dockyard and is one of many beautiful Caribbean spots to add to your
list.

Caribbean houses

The eastern Caribbean island of Barbados boasts pristine white sand beaches, turquoise waters and swaying palms.

Among
its array of beauty spots are a selection of historical sites, well worth a
visit if you stay on this stunning island.

Journey
back through colonial history and visit some of the few plantation houses which
remain in Barbados. If you are looking for beautiful Caribbean houses, a trip
to St Philip’s countryside and a visit to Sunbury Plantation House is a must.

Take a
guided tour of its elegant interior, see its horse-drawn carriages and indulge
in a candlelit dinner for a taste of the lifestyle enjoyed by plantation
owners.

St
Nicholas Abbey, a plantation house, museum and rum distillery, is also well
worth a visit during your Barbados stay. Built in 1658, the house is in Saint
Peter. Witness the heritage railway before taking a rum experience tour during
this day out.

St. John’s Dock

Looking to meander around a marina and enjoy Antigua’s
stunning scenery? Whether you are an avid sailing enthusiast or prefer to watch
from afar, St. John’s Dock is a spot to add to your list. Stroll along the
sea-facing boardwalk and soak up Antigua’s rich maritime heritage.

You can even sample some of Antigua’s fine cuisine and indulge
in some retail therapy in one of the marina’s many tempting restaurants and
shops.
